This is a used 1966 Martin D-28 with Brazilian rosewood back & sides, a spruce top, mahogany neck as well as an ebony bridge & fretboard. It retains its original finish, Grover Rotomatic tuners and tortoise pickguard. There are some repaired cracks such as the typical “B String crack” running from outer rosette ring on the bridge. These cracks were expertly repaired by Ronnie Griffin and should pose no further issue. They have some pick wear throughout the soundhole and several dings that offer character. The bridge with this guitar is original but continues to be slightly shaved to allow for a lower saddle. Bracing is original without sign of anything being previously loose or reglued. This is a great sounding Brazilian D-28 that’s easy to play and appears spectacular. Always enthusiastic about trades for vintage Martin or Gibson acoustics.
